The Roman Conservatory of Patras (Achaea, Peloponnese) is located on a natural low hill in the upper city of Patras and lower than the hill of the medieval castle, where is located the acropolis of the ancient city. The Conservatory is surrounded by Germanou and Sotiriadou streets. It was built in the first half of the 2nd c. A.D. It ceased to be used at the end of the 3rd c. AD after a catastrophic fire. It was unveiled in 1889.

The excavation of the monument lasted from1957 to 1960. The form it has today is the result of the restoration that took place with the responsibility and personal expense of the native architect Ioannis Vassilios in collaboration with the Archaeological Company between 1959-1961. The Conservatory hosts every summer performances and events of Patras International Festival.
