- The “Italian South and Western Greece talk cinematically” - Greece-Italy Cooperation Program

The opportunity to enjoy the produced film material of the cross-border cooperation program Interreg VA Greece-Italy 2014 ⁄ 2020 CIAK "Joint initiatives for the recognition and exploitation of the potential of tourism through cinema" have the first viewers of the Olympia Festival, which this year is organized digitally, as harmonized with the framework of measures to limit the spread of COVID-19. The screenings, which started on November 28, will last until December 5.
As part of the project, the Puglia Film Commission produced 10 short films. The action involved young directors from Puglia and Greece, who were invited to create short fiction films, based on the common life of Greece and Italy. The end result emerged on the basis of great teamwork, inspired by passion and dedication, within the broader context of cross-border and intercultural cooperation.

It is noted that in the Region of Western Greece, a total of three local festivals will be held, through an online platform, one in each of the three regional units (Achaia, Ilia, Etoloakarnania).
