Mytikas is a seaside village on the west side of the Region Unit of Etoloakarnania. It is located on the west coast of Acarnania, between Astakos and Vonitsa and is built on a pointed piece of land that penetrates the Ionian Sea. The village is built on the seashore, while a central paved road connects the entrance of the village with the port. From Mytikas you can visit the islands of Kalamo and Kasto by boat or reach Scorpio, Meganisi and Ithaca by ferry.
