The Roman stadium of Patras (Achaea, Peloponnese) is located in the center of the city and is enclosed by the Karaiskaki, Pantanassis, Ag. Georgiou and Erissos streets. The monument has not been fully unveiled and the gradual expropriation of the site is expected to complete the systematic excavation. It was built in the 1st century AD during the reign of Emperor Domitian, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Roman colony in 14 AD, i.e. around 86 AD. The stadium has an elongated shape and has two petals or slings. Its dimensions are estimated at 200 m long and 90 m wide.

The declared archeological site of the stadium in the heart of the modern city includes the Roman conservatory dating to the 2nd AD. century, as well as the surviving ancient excavations in the area of Genti Aga, while the whole belongs by the decision of the Ministry of Culture in the historic center of Patras and the use of the surrounding area is subject to restrictions set in 2008 by the Directorate of Urban Planning.
